Absolutely stunning

Sometimes the beauty of a fragrance is it's simplicity. To me this outdoorsy, rustic and woodsy fragrance is the epitome of what winter smells like. As someone who has lived in New England for half a century I know what the forest smell like. Snow capped fraser is a beautiful combination of pine and balsam boughs with a nuance of pine cones. Not only is it a simple fragrance it's extremely authentic. You also get the resinous sweetness of pine sap. It's not sweet in terms of sugar, it softens this kind of fragrance which can sometimes come across as harsh. There's a beautiful vegetal quality that makes it smell green and fresh combined with the rustic qualities of the dark woods and the pine cones. It's not listed in the notes but there's also a slight ember nuance, It smells as if there might be a wood stove in the far distance but it's not smokey nor does it smell like incense. If you have an aversion to those type of fragrances this scent won't bother you. As previously mentioned,The wood here is dark like oak bark not vibrant like cedar or an unvarnished chair. There are many wonderful balsam conifer type fragrances in the candle world but if you're looking for the best you have found it.

AMAZING SCENT!

This is an amazing scent! Not just for fall/winter. You will not be disappointed! They no longer manufacture the spray so this candle and wax melt is the way to go!

Gorgeous fragrance, weak throw

This fragrance is beautiful, especially for January and February, as it is not spicy or holiday-leaning. Though unlisted, there are some ozone air nuances that amplify the rugged outdoorsiness of the trees. Amber lends a musky component that drives the fragrance in a personal fragrance direction, making it more of a conceptual than a pure outdoor tree candle. And gosh Kringle does conceptual so well! Unfortunately the strength and throw were quite weak - somewhere in the 3-5 range, which is unlikely to satisfy most people. Otherwise it could be recommended highly. NB - this fragrance was originally in the Country Candle line under the name “Mountain Sunrise” - but the strength was weak in that iteration as well.
